神戸大学国際学生交流シンポジウム (Kobe University International Students’ Symposium: KISS) は、神戸大学のキャンパスに集う学生が、日本語 / 英語のバイリンガルで自由、活発に討議し、意見交換することを通して、国際理解、相互理解を深めることを目的としています。

The Kobe University International Students’ Symposium is an opportunity for Kobe University’s　students to discuss their ideas and opinions in a freely structured English/Japanese bilingual environment. Participate for a chance to assert your views and deepen your intercultural understanding together with students from Kobe University!

このKISS16シンポジウムに、世界中から様々な国籍の人達が集まります。目的はひとつ、対話。KISS16を通して、様々なテーマについて二日間熱く対話して行きたいと思います。学生であるこの時期に、多様な価値観、生き方に触れ、それを内包していく中で私たちは人として大きく成長できるのではないのでしょうか。未来を作り出す私たちのきっかけ作りに、また人生の中の思い出に残るような二日間にしたいと思います。

Dear Participants

On the first weekend of December 2010, many students from around the world, of differing　ethnicities and nationalities, will gather for this KISS16 Symposium.　The purpose is a simple one: dialogue. Over the course of two days at KISS16, I hope that we may all passionately engage in a variety of dialogues regarding topics important to our lives, and our future. During our time as students, we are exposed to a diverse range of values, and ways of life. By internalizing these experiences, I believe we can continue to grow and flourish as people. It is my hope that these two days may be filled with opportunities for all of us, creators of the future, to come together and generate memories that will last a lifetime.
