Visit from University of South Australia President

On 20th April 2015, University of South Australia President David Lloyd and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Nigel Relph paid a courtesy visit to Kobe University President TAKEDA Hiroshi. Their meeting was also attended by Kobe University faculty members Professor INOUE Noriyuki (Executive Vice President in Charge of International Exchange), Professor FUJII Masaru (Executive Vice President in Charge of Admissions), and Professor YUI Kiyomitsu (Executive Director of the Centre for EU Studies and Professor at the Graduate School of Humanities).

Until now, collaborations between the University of South Australia and Kobe University have focused on the field of sociology. At this meeting, both parties recognized the importance of building a network with other global universities in order to engage in world-class research. President Lloyd and President TAKEDA agreed to deepen the relationship between their universities, and expressed their hopes for developing this partnership.
