Center for Collaborative Research and Technology Development

Kobe University values its partnership with industry and government. The Kobe University Center for Collaborative Research and Technology Development (CREATE) was established on October 1, 2005 as a central organization to facilitate the transfer of knowledge to benefit society, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. In its aim to serve as a catalyst bridging the laboratory to the industry, the CREATE provides a one-stop shop of knowledge management tools and solutions to advance the development of promising new technologies by fostering strategic collaboration with industry through licensing, sponsored research and new venture agreement.
