Faculty of Economics

The Faculty of Economics has its origin in the Kobe Higher Commercial School, established in 1902. It is one of the oldest and the most prestigious educational institutes in economics in Japan. There are about sixty faculty members of eight relevant areas, providing systemic and comprehensive education in the subject. The curriculum consists of liberal arts, foreign languages, basic and specialized subjects in economics. In addition, several advanced courses are offered for students who want to study at the graduate level after the four-year undergraduate program.
There are many business leaders and prominent alumni working in various fields who have graduated from the Faculty.
