The Medical Center for Student Health was established in April 1970. Services provided by the Center include annual medical checkup for all students and staff, special checkups for X-ray and/or radioisotope users, as well as new overseas students. Emergency medical treatment is also available. There are doctors and nurses as well as counselors to provide consultation or advisory service on physical and mental problems.

The Medical Center for Student Health is also playing an important part in developing safe and hygienic educational environment, through "Health and Safety" activities by qualified doctors.
