Kobe University established its Tokyo Office on April 1, 2005. The Office, which used to be located on B2F of the Imperial Theater Building, moved one floor up to B1F of the same building on January 7, 2011. Tokyo Office is operated directly by Kobe University. While its main purpose is to gather and disseminate information in the metropolitan area to enhance the University's image, the Office also places great emphasis on keeping close ties with alumni in order to develop a wide network of support for students during job hunting. It will conduct “needs research” and act as the contact and PR office for Kobe University events, including seminars given by the Center for Collaborative Research and Technology Development (CREATE), held in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
Conveniently located near the heart of Tokyo’s business district, this Office offers students, faculty staff, and alumni a place to use PCs, printer and scanner. There is also a changeroom for people who wish to change into a suit from their street clothes.
The Office may also arrange meetings with knowledgeable alumni for career consultation. There will be a career consultant on hand in the office from February 1 to May 31 from 10 am to 5 pm to help fill out the entry sheets and give mock interviews. Interested parties should contact the office beforehand by phone or email to ensure availability.
Head of Tokyo Office: Mr. KONISHI Jun (Class of 1969, Faculty of Economics)
Open: Monday-Friday 10:00 - 19:00
*Tokyo Office may take some days off without prior notice so please call or email the office first before visiting.
