Visit From Riga Technical University

On April 22, Rector Tālis JUHNA and Vice Rector Liene BRIEDE from Riga Technical University, Latvia called on President FUJISAWA Masato.

The meeting was attended by Executive Vice President TAMAKI Hisashi (the director of the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships), SUZUKI Hirotaka (professor at the Graduate School of Engineering), and HANADA Eva (associate professor at the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships). 

Fujisawa began by welcoming the visitors and Suzuki explained about the past exchanges between the two universities. In addition, Juhna expressed a desire to expand exchanges in areas such as hydrogen, photonics, and biomaterials, and to continue to explore opportunities for research collaboration.

Through this visit, it is hoped that cooperation between the two universities will become even more active.
