A strong typhoon #18 is approaching the Kansai area between Oct. 7 and 8.

Should the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) release "Strong Wind" or Storm Warning for the Hanshin sub-prefecture region of Hyogo Prefecture, Kobe University will cancel classes from that point. Please pay attention to weather forecast on the morning of the 8th, or see this page.

If the warning is lifted, the classes will resume as follow:

1. When lifted by 6 amNormal schedule of the day
2. When lifted by 10 amClass begins from 3rd period
3. When lifted by 3 pmClass begin from 1st period of Night course (17:50)

*Heavy rain warning does not apply to cancellation of classes.
