If self-financed international students (degree-seeking students only) cannot pay their tuition due to financial hardship, Kobe University will deliberate the case and possibly exempt 1/2 of the tuition if their academic skills meet or exceed the standard. This deliberation is done once every semester, January for the first semester, and July for the second. For details on how to apply, check with the International Student Section at each faculty.
