The Japanese Government offers scholarships for academic study in Japan to foreign students interested in deepening their understanding of the Japanese language, Japanese affairs and Japanese culture. The purpose of this scholarship is to promote mutual understanding and deepen friendly ties between Japan and other countries through the application of advanced knowledge and culture. Applicants must come from a Kobe University partner university
Please note that the application procedure differs from that of the exchange student program between the two universities.
