2010 Entrance Examination Schedule for Undergraduate programs
International students who are interested in enrolling in Kobe University should have an advanced understanding of the Japanese language as undergraduate courses are taught in Japanese. Many degree-seeking international undergraduate students go to a Japanese language school first to study Japanese prior to enrolling into Kobe University.
Eligibility
Foreign nationals who have successfully completed 12 years of education or the equivalent. Students who are expected to graduate by March 31 and enter a Japanese university on April 1 are also eligible.
- Take the “Examinations for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)”
- Take and pass the examinations conducted by each faculty.
Selection Method
Students are selected based on the combined results of:
- EJU test
- Examinations conducted by each faculty
- Their academic records
Examinations vary according to each faculty. Please refer to the list of inquiries for respective information.
Examination Category
A: Special examination exclusively for international students.
B1: Examination for both international and Japanese students. Special consideration will be given to international students.
B2: Examination for both international and Japanese students. No special consideration will be given to international students.
C: Examination on request by international students. Specific arrangements are made on ad hoc basis.
