If a person who holds a status of "College Student" or "Cultural Activity" decides to stay in Japan as a researcher in Kobe University, he/she must have his/her status changed to "Professor" at the Immigration Bureau before the expiration of the period of stay. The required documents are as follows:

- (3) Alien Registration Card
- (4) Acceptance Letter or Employment Certificate from Kobe University that indicates the period of employment, income and status.
- (5) Fee 4,000yen
