The Department of Agricultural Engineering and Socio-Economics carries out education and research with the aim of systemizing the agricultural production process and creating socio-economic systems that can contribute to solving issues concerning food and the environment. The Department has two divisions: the Division of Agricultural Engineering and the Division of Food and Environmental Economics.

Agricultural Engineering

We carry out research in the development of machines and systems related to food production systems including cultivation, crop management, harvest, storage, processing, distribution, consumption, waste disposal, and effective use of biomass resources.

Food and Environmental Economics

Learn to identify and solve socio-economic issues related to agricultural production, distribution, consumption, trade, agricultural communities, and the environment.
