The Department of Maritime Technology Management nurtures ships' officers and other management engineers who can fulfill leading roles in the international maritime society, and works for the development of the maritime and other industries, marine environment conservation and international exchange, thereby contributing to world peace.

Department of Maritime Logistics Sciences

The objective of the Department of Maritime Logistics Sciences is to foster individuals who can help design, establish, evaluate and manage transportation/logistics systems that are efficient, safe and friendly to the global environment. Such systems have become increasingly important along with economic globalization.

Toward this objective, the Department provides education meeting the highest international standards. Degrees are awarded in line with the following two policies.

  • Students shall study at the Department of Maritime Logistics Sciences for the specified period of time and earn the credits required for graduation.

Department of Marine Engineering

The objectives of the Department of Marine Engineering are to provide students with basic knowledge regarding various energy resource-related technologies, environmental preservation and mechatronics technologies, and thereby to foster engineers who can configure, manage and evaluate the entire systems.
