Kobe University strengthens ties with Foreign Trade University

On November 11 2015, Foreign Trade University(Hanoi, Vietnam) and Kobe University signed a “Memorandum of Understanding for the Management Structure of the Kobe University Hanoi Liaison Base” and a “Letter of Intent for Cooperation on Double Degree Program between Foreign Trade University and Kobe University”. This Double Degree Program agreement includes social science subjects such as economics and law.

The signing ceremony for these agreements was attended by two representatives from Foreign Trade University: Professor Vu Hoang Nam (Director of the Department of International Affairs), and Professor Tran Thi Thu Thuy (Head of the Faculty of Japanese). From Kobe University President TAKEDA Hiroshi, Professor FUJITA Seiichi (Executive Vice President in Charge of Education) and Professor INOUE Noriyuki (Executive Vice President in Charge of International Exchange) attended the ceremony.
On April 13th 2015, Kobe University established the Kobe University Hanoi Liaison Base within Foreign Trade University. It is expected that this will further strengthen ties between the two institutions.
