Follow-up measures regarding the bomb warning

To all students, staff and related persons,
Kobe University received a warning stating that 13 of the University’s major buildings would be blown up on August 19 (Wednesday) at 2pm. The University cooperated with the police, carrying out security measures such as checking for suspicious items throughout the facilities, being on alert for suspicious persons, and conducting patrols. No explosions nor incidents occurred at the time specified in the warning.
From August 20 (Thursday), university operations will resume in accordance with Kobe University’s Activity Restriction Measures to prevent widespread Novel Coronavirus infection (Level 2). However, if you see any suspicious items or persons on campus or nearby, please contact General Affairs immediately.
