Eligibility

Self-financed international graduate students who have excellent academic records and difficulty in paying tuition fee.

(*Except Japanese Government Scholarship Students) 

Students of the Graduate School of Medicine, Graduate School of Health Sciences, or Graduate School of Maritime Sciences must apply at the Student Affairs Section of each Graduate School.

Please contact the academic office of each Graduate School directly for details regarding the application process, such as the dates for the application period.

About Application (Only by Post)

1. Application method

Please submit the documents to the Financial Support Group by simple registered "Letter Pack Plus" between February 1 and March 10 (must arrive during this period).

Applications received after the closing date will not be processed, regardless of the reason.

3. Notification of acceptance of the application form and missing documents

Notification of acceptance of the application form and missing documents will be sent to your student number address within 7 days from the date of receipt of the application.

Announcement of the result

You will be informed of the application result via the Academic Affairs System “Uribo-Net” after August, 2023.

Please log in to "Uribo-Net" and go to "Bulletin board" and then "Message for you".

Please select "Results of Tuition Fee Exemption for 1st Semester 2023" from the list to check the result.
