Eligibility

If you are a new self-financed international graduate student* thinking of applying for Tuition Fee Exemption for the 1st Semester 2023, please read "Check Sheet" carefully before applying. Please make sure that you check everything and nothing is missed.
(*Except Japanese Government Scholarship Students)

Students of the Graduate School of Medicine, Graduate School of Health Sciences or Graduate School of Maritime Sciences must apply at the Student Affairs Section of each graduate school.

Please directly contact the academic office of your graduate school with any questions regarding the application process, such as application deadlines. Please scroll down to the bottom of this page for the contact details.

STEP 1. Submit Application documents

Submission Method

Please submit the documents to the Financial Support Group by simple registered "Letter Pack Plus" between March 27 and April 3 (must arrive during this period).

Applications received after the deadline will not be processed, regardless of the reason.

STEP 2. Email address registration

Please register your email address using the form below.

Please proceed Step 2 after you have submitted the application documents Step 1.

A notification of receipt of the application and missing documents will be sent to your registered e-mail address within one week.
Please make sure to check your 'spam filtering', 'blocking', and 'designated domain name' settings so that you can receive emails from Student Support Division (the domain is office.kobe-u.ac.jp).

Announcement of the result

You will be informed of the application result via the Academic Affairs System “Uribo-Net” after August, 2023.

Please log in to "Uribo-Net" and go to the "Bulletin board" and click on "Message for you".

Please select "Results of Tuition Fee Exemption for 1st Semester 2023" from the list to check your result.
