While the year 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of Germany’s reunification, the nation is facing fundamental shifts such as the crisis in the Ukraine, intensifying conflicts in the Middle East, an increasingly influential China, and the debt crisis in Europe. Mr. Volker Kauder, who has been serving as Chairman of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the Bundestag for many years, will present his own experience and analyze the causes of today’s upheaval.
