On December 5 and 6, Kobe University will host Kobe University Global-link (KUGL) Forum in Kuala Lumpur.
KUGL Forum is part of Kobe University's efforts to further promote international alumni network under the President's leadership and the first forum was held in January, 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand. The goal for KUGL Forum is to build up stronger bonds with Kobe University's intellectual repositories such as International Alumni Network Associations as well as overseas partner universities, so as to increase the presence of Kobe University Brand. The second KUGL Forum took place at Seoul, Korea in November, 2011, followed by the third KUGL Forum at Beijing, China in September 2012, the fourth at Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi in Veitnam 2013. This year, the fifth KUGL Forum will be held at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
The KUGL Forum in Kuala Lumpur will be organized for two days: on December 5 and 6 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Among the participants are Kobe University President, researchers from both Japan and Malaysia. Various topics will be presented and discussed ranging from opportunities for Japan-Malaysia.
