The Center for Asian Academic Collaboration of Kobe University has devoted considerable time and resources to building up a worldwide network among global leaders of Japanese Studies. This effort has come with the successful hosting of the Forum for Leaders of Japanese Studies, which has demonstrated how the collaborative exchange among the researchers in the field attach a broader significance to global society.
This year’s annual conference will consist of the two sessions: the 1st one is the forum for guest researchers to discuss the “Future Prospect of the Forum for Leaders of Japanese Studies: What Do You Expect of Kobe University?”, and the other is the symposium with an ambitious theme of “Japan in Age of Global Structural Transition: How Do Asian Countries View?”. It is expected that this 5th Annual Conference will further strengthen the existing network of leaders of Japanese Studies and its presence more than ever by sharing insights from various academic fields as well as through the lens of Japan.
We look forward to your participation in the forum.
