Kobe University aims to contribute to the advancement of education and research through international collaboration with Asian universities and research institutes in the fields of the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and biomedical sciences. In order to facilitate this, in January 2008 the Kobe University China Office was established in Beijing at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Beijing Office.
In September 2015, due to the JSPS Beijing Office location change, the Kobe University China Office will move to a new address (please see below for details). The China Office will continue to expand the scope of international exchange for Kobe University, and support exchange in education and research with universities and institutes in China and other Asian countries.
