Kobe University participated in Japan education event in China

Representatives from Kobe University participated in an event about studying in Japan from May 31 to June 1 at Beijing Jiaotong University. This event was organized by the Embassy of Japan in China to provide information for students who wish to study abroad in Japan. It concurrently provided Chinese applicants with doctoral program interviews for the 2017 Japanese Government Scholarship for International Students. 19 Japanese universities attended the event.

Kobe University’s booth attracted approximately 60 visitors over the two days. Representatives from Kobe University welcomed them and answered various questions about Kobe University’s distinctive research fields, admissions and the application process, and the median time needed to obtain a degree. Kobe University has 15 graduate schools covering various academic fields, and staff from the China Office of Kobe University responded to a wide range of questions from students on subjects from maritime sciences and medicine to agriculture and humanities.
