Don't be afraid to ask fellow students about club activities. Getting involved in clubs here is an easy way to find a community. Personally, being in a new country and not knowing anyone made this a pretty high priority and through the clubs at KU, I was able to find a network of people to share new experiences with making my study abroad all the more fulfilling.
