Kobe SALAD Online 2022 Summer
Program introduction
In cooperation with Hanyang University, this program started Seoul in 2013. SALAD (School of Asian Law and Dispute Management) was subsequently held every summer in Kobe, accepting students from various regions of Asia, in the spirit of promoting mutual trust based on the understanding and appreciation of various values derived from the sustainable diversity of social cultures in Asia.
Kobe SALAD was not held on Kobe University's campus in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead, Kobe SALAD Online 2021 Spring was held in February and March. After Kobe SALAD Online 2021 Summer in August, the 2022 Summer session is the third Kobe SALAD held virtually.

ICHS Summer Educational Program
Program introduction
This program's purpose is to deliver lectures in English and provide opportunities for interactive discussion with partner universities in Asia.
Lectures on disaster management, maternal and child health, infectious diseases, health communication and lifestyle-related diseases will be given by professors from both Japan and overseas.

This two-week program offers an opportunity for students from our partner institutes to deepen their engineering-related knowledge in Kobe.
All participants will have the opportunity to explore state-of-the-art research conducted at Kobe University, as well as cutting-edge technologies developed by industries mainly in Japan.

Title
Summer Program in Japanese Language and Culture 2024
Program introduction
The Kobe University Summer Program in Japanese Language & Culture (Summer Program) is an intensive 9-day program for students studying Japanese at universities sharing academic partnerships with Kobe University. The 2024 session will be held in-class.
This program focusses on engaging students' Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking skills through studying current issues in Japan, aiming to raise overall Japanese ability, as well as deepening understanding today's Japanese society. It particularly aims to strengthen the speaking ability of students at Upper Intermediate level. Through classes and interaction with Japanese people, we hope to provide an experience as close to studying in Japan as possible. We welcome all students to apply--especially those who planned to study abroad to Japan.

KOBE JAPANESE PROGRAM JANUARY 2024
Program introduction
'Kobe Japanese Program January 2024' is a short-term program designed for Australian students studying Japanese, with the theme of 'Discover the Kobe Area and Japan-Oceania つながり(link)!'. The focus of the course is Japanese Language and Area Studies, including culture and society, based on the Kobe and Hyogo area and its links with Oceania. Students will learn to express themselves in Japanese about their field trip experiences and other activities.
The program had been held face-to-face in our campus* between 5th January to 26th January 2024.
