About Enrollment Fee Exemption and Deferral

Enrollment Fee Exemption

Prospective students may be granted a full or half exemption from enrollment fees as a result of a screening based on their applications if any of the following circumstances apply:

Please note that prospective students who are granted a half exemption and those not granted an exemption are requested to pay their required enrollment fees by the due date.

Prospective undergraduates

The prospective undergraduate is a victim of a natural disaster, including, but not limited to, storm and flooding, no more than one year prior to the admission to the University, and is deemed to have great difficulty paying the enrollment fee.

Prospective graduate students

  • The prospective graduate student has an outstanding academic record but has difficulty paying the enrollment fee due to financial hardship.
  • The prospective graduate student is a victim of a natural disaster, including, but not limited to, storm and flooding, no more than one year prior to the admission to the University, and is deemed to have great difficulty paying the enrollment fee.

Note: Individuals who have already paid the enrollment fee are not eligible for enrollment fee exemption.

Enrollment Fee Deferral

Prospective students may be granted an enrollment fee deferral as a result of a screening based on their applications, if any of the following circumstances apply:

Prospective undergraduates and graduate students

  • The prospective student has an outstanding academic record but has difficulty paying the enrollment fee by the due date because of financial hardship.
  • The prospective student is a victim of a natural disaster, including, but not limited to, storm and flooding, no more than one year prior to admission to the University and is deemed to have great difficulty paying the enrollment fee by the due date.

Note: persons who are granted an enrollment fee deferral must pay the enrollment fee by the newly assigned due date.
