Tuition Fee Exemption

Students who have difficulty paying their tuition fees due to any of the following circumstances may be granted a full or half tuition exemption as a result of a screening based on applications submitted for the first or second semester.

  1. The graduate student has outstanding academic records but has difficulty paying for tuition due to financial hardship.
  2. The student is a victim of a natural disaster, including, but not limited to storms and flooding, no more than six months prior to the time of tuition fee payment for each semester (no more than one year prior to the admission to the University for new students if they apply for tuition exemption for the semester in which they are enrolled).

Note: The following are ineligible for exemption:

  • Students who have already paid for their tuition
  • Students who repeat a year for no specific reason
  • Students who exceed the standard number of years required for completion of their course of study for no specific reason

The students who are granted a half exemption and those not granted an exemption are requested to pay their required tuition fees by the due date.
