On October 20, His Excellency Mr. Martin KLUČAR, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in Japan, paid a visit to Executive Vice President NAKAMURA Tamotsu (director of the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships).

Their meeting was also attended by the following people: Ondřej SVOBODA (economic diplomat of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Japan), MIZUHATA Minoru (executive director of the Europe & Africa Division and professor at the Graduate School of Engineering), and HANADA Eva (associate professor of the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships).

Vice President NAKAMURA began by welcoming the visitor and explained the strengths of Kobe University. Ambassador Klučar talked about the academic exchange between the partner universities Kobe University and Charles University.

After the meeting, Ambassador Klučar and his delegation met with three students from Charles University and talked about their life in Kobe.

Kobe University will continue to strengthen its ties with Czech academic institutions in both education and research.
