On April 24, Magdalena Barwiołek, Vice-Rector for International Relations, and Adam Kola, Vice-Rector for Research of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń called on Executive Vice President TAMAKI Hisashi, director of the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships.
From Kobe University, the meeting was attended by participants including MIZUHATA Minoru, executive director of the Europe & Africa Division at the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships and professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, HANADA Eva, associate professor of the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships, and KARASHIMA Masato, associate professor at the Graduate School of Intercultural Studies.
During the meeting, after a greeting from Tamaki welcoming the delegation, brief overviews were given by representatives from both universities, which were followed by discussions on the expectations for collaboration in diverse fields, including the social and natural sciences. Specifically, information was exchanged on the summer school at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, collaboration with the help of university networks in Europe, and Kobe University’s Kobe Global Challenge Program.
This visit is expected to further deepen exchanges between the two universities.
