On June 16, H.E. Mr. Elrayih Mohamed Elawad Hyduob, ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Japan, and Mr. Ali Mohamed Ahmed Osman Mohamed, deputy head of mission and counselor, called on President FUJISAWA Masato of Kobe University.
From Kobe University, the meeting was attended by participants including TAMAKI Hisashi, executive vice president and director of the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships, MIZUHATA Minoru, director of the Europe & Africa Division at the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships and professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, and HANADA Eva, associate professor of the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships.
During the meeting, after a welcome message from President Fujisawa, Ambassador Hyduob introduced the active research being conducted at universities in Sudan, particularly in the fields of agriculture, medicine, and information technology. The participants also exchanged views on possible academic collaboration with our university.
This visit is expected to further deepen exchanges between the two countries.
