On July 22, Professor Dato' Dr. Toh Kian Kok, group business development advisor; Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Show Pau Loke, director of the Center of Excellence for Research, Value Innovation and Entrepreneurship; and Mr. Aaron Toh Eng Ann, Executive Global Rankings, from UCSI University, Malaysia, visited KONDO Narihiko, vice director of the Office for Promoting International Cooperation, to exchange views on future inter-university collaboration.
The meeting was also attended by Associate Professor KATSUDA Tomohisa of the Graduate School of Engineering and Associate Professor HANADA Eva of the Office for Promoting International Cooperation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Professor Toh introduced UCSI University and the UCSI Group and expressed his expectations for strengthening collaboration between the two universities. He then presented UCSI University's initiatives to enhance its research capabilities. Kondo highlighted the importance of promoting collaborative research, particularly involving early-career researchers, as well as faculty and student exchange. The participants also engaged in active discussions on a wide range of future cooperation, including the use of the visiting professor program and opportunities for university-industry collaboration.


This visit is expected to further strengthen collaboration and academic exchange between the two universities.
