Overview

The Tokyo Office is located in the Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan Building, directly in front of JR Yurakucho Station. It is conveniently situated near Tokyo Station, the government district of Kasumigaseki, and the business centers of Otemachi and Marunouchi. Serving concurrently as the Career Center Tokyo Branch, the office functions as Kobe University’s base of operations in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Its primary missions include:

  • Information Collection and Dissemination
  • Support for Students’ Employment Activities
  • Development and Strengthening of Alumni Networks

 

Opening Hours of the Tokyo Office 

The Tokyo Office is open from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday (excluding national holidays). It is available for use by faculty members, students, and alumni of Kobe University.

 

Use of Meeting Rooms 

Meeting rooms may be utilized for online conferences, seminars, academic society meetings, research presentations, and related preparatory activities conducted by faculty members of Kobe University. In addition, the facilities are also available for use by students and alumni.

Meeting Room Availability

Kobe University faculty members, students, and alumni may use the meeting room free of charge. The room can accommodate up to 12 persons.

Available Facilities and Equipment

The following facilities and equipment are available for use:

  • Wi-Fi and wired LAN
  • Whiteboard
  • Meeting room (accommodating up to 12 persons, equipped with a monitor; reservation required)
  • Discussion corner (for up to 4 persons)
  • Office space with changing room (for single-person use)

     

Support for Students’ Employment Activities

Career Consultant Advisory Sessions

Advisory sessions with career consultants are available either online or in person. A private consultation room has been prepared for this purpose.

Applications for the “Career Advisor Consultation” (Tokyo Office) may be submitted after reviewing the “Reservation Method” and “Notes at the Time of Application.”

Base for Job Hunting in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area

When conducting job-hunting activities in the Tokyo metropolitan area, please make full use of the Tokyo Office. In addition to Wi-Fi facilities, the Tokyo Office provides access to meeting rooms, a changing room, and storage space for personal belongings.

Introduction to “OBOG Visits”

Support is provided for visits to alumni (OBOG), primarily in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Many alumni are registered in the Tokyo Office’s alumni network, and opportunities for visits are offered.

Students who wish to participate are requested to apply via “Tokyo Office OBOG Visit Application Form.”

 

Alumni Network

Various alumni gatherings and major events of the Tokyo Rokko Club are introduced, and requests for OBOG visits are arranged according to individual needs. We warmly encourage you to register with the “Alumni Network in the Tokyo metropolitan area.”
