On behalf of Kobe University, I would like to express my sincere condolences to those who lost loved ones in the Noto Peninsula earthquake that struck on January 1, 2024. I extend my deepest sympathy to everyone affected by this disaster and greatest respect to all those who are providing emergency relief and supporting recovery.
Aftershocks continue in the disaster-stricken areas, and many remain anxious about missing loved ones. I earnestly hope for everyone's safety and for the earliest possible recovery from this disaster.
