The Graduate School of Business Administration awards degrees in line with the following policies.

Master's Program

The Graduate School of Business Administration awards master's degrees in line with the following policies.

  • Students shall study in the Master's Program Period of the Graduate School of Business Administration for the specified period of time, earn the required credits for completing the Master's Program and pass the reviews and examinations prescribed by the Graduate School.
  • Students are encouraged to acquire high levels of expertise in management, accounting, commerce and other related academic fields, and learn scientific research methods.

Doctoral Program

The Graduate School of Business Administration awards doctoral degrees in line with the following policies.

  • After completing a master's program, former period of the doctoral program or professional degree program, students shall study in the Doctoral Program Period of the Graduate School of Business Administration for the specified period of time, earn the required credits for completing the Period of the Doctoral Program, and pass the reviews and examinations prescribed by the Graduate School.
  • Students are encouraged to acquire advanced and cutting edge expertise in management, accounting, commerce and other related academic fields, and obtain the ability to carry out original research using scientific research methods.

Professional Degree Program (MBA Course)

The Graduate School of Business Administration, Kobe University fosters expert professionals who have an excellent sense of human nature, abundant creativity and outstanding international awareness, and who are equipped with a deep knowledge of, and excellent specialized skills in the areas of management, accounting and commerce. The Graduate School of Business Administration awards Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees in line with the following policies.

  • Students shall study in the Professional Degree Program of the Graduate School for the specified period of time, earn the required credits for completing the Program and pass the reviews and examinations prescribed by the Graduate School.
  • Students are encouraged to acquire high levels of expertise in management in general, as well as in-depth expertise in specific fields, and develop the ability to think logically and use such expertise in practical applications.
  • Students are encouraged to acquire the thinking, decision-making and communication abilities useful in the international community, to play a central role in Japan's business community.
